EContent 100: MarketMuse Among Top Companies in Digital Content for 2018

2 min read

Each year, a panel of 11 judges – including founders, editors, strategists, and writers – identifies the top 100 leading companies in the digital content industry for EContent 100. This year, a growing recognition that artificial intelligence is the future of content added some new players to the list – including MarketMuse.

Our patented software uses A.I. to generate content outlines and recommendations based on content that’s already ranking, allowing marketers to efficiently create content that reliably performs in search.

As SEO requires a more and more tech-savvy approach, A.I. is becoming increasingly important to help marketers make data-based decisions in the type of content they create. The presence of A.I. companies on the EContent 100 list is further proof that the next wave is here.

“It’s an honor to be among companies like Apple, Google, and IBM on the EContent 100. Every day our team strives to build on our A.I. so it can more accurately predict how marketers should be writing content, and we’re to the point where the results are almost creepy. We’re excited to continue to grow and help even more businesses get the most out of their content using A.I. and machine learning,” said Aki Balogh, Co-Founder of MarketMuse.

Panel judges included Tim Bourgeois, founder of ChiefDigitalOfficer.net; Bruno Herrmann, director of globalization and localization and Nielsen; Ron Miller, TechCrunch reporter; Brandi Scardilli, editor of NewsBreaks and Information Today; Val Swisher, CEO of Content Rules; Scott Abel, “The Content Wrangler”; Apoorv Durga, analyst at Real Story Group; Kashyap Kompella, founder and CEO of RPA2AI; Eric Schumacher-Rasmussen, editor of Streaming Media; Steve Smith, digital publishing reporter; and Theresa Cramer, editor of EContent magazine.

“Congratulations to all the companies named to the 17th Annual EContent 100. The names on this list are as varied as the digital media industry itself, but one of this year’s standout trends was the importance of Artificial Intelligence. Companies in every category are finding new and innovative ways to use AI to improve their products and the end-used experience. After seeing what so many of the EContent 100 companies are up to, the judges and I can’t wait to see what 2018 brings,” said Theresa Cramer, Editor of EContent magazine.

The MarketMuse A.I. has been shown to help companies increase their traffic over three to six months. Even if you already have great content, a boost with machine learning gives you the edge you need. We proved this with our Neil Patel case study, which showed how we helped him double his traffic and rankings.

If better ranking is a priority for your business, see how our outlines and recommendations can help you achieve your content goals.
